We started Guthrie CiderWorks in San Diego because the culture here mirrors what we’re trying to create. San Diego is a place with a commitment to quality & innovation, where literally thousands of food & drink artisans are focused on making the best they can – and that’s what we’re doing as well.
Our cider-making journey started with a love of wine. Using wine-making techniques, slow fermentations, and no added sugar we create dry, complex ciders.
Guthrie hard ciders are different from the sweet, mass market ciders out there. All Guthrie ciders are are gluten-free and low in sugar, and made from all-natural ingredients.
Without the sugar, you can really taste the flavors.
We craft, ferment and bottle in Miramar, San Diego, CA.
